Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

This recipe for Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps makes around 4 servings.
Ingredients
Sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup veg stock
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or more hoisin)
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ginger paste
Other
- 2 lb ground chicken
- 1 chopped onion
- sesame oil
- sesame seeds
- green onions
- cornstarch
- lettuce
- white rice
Optional
- mushrooms
- carrots
- bok choy
- cabbage
- etc.
Directions
- Start the white rice in rice cooker
- Add sesame oil to pan, when hot add chopped onion, garlic & ginger, then saute til soft
- Add chicken and cook evenly (not fully cooked)
- While chicken is cooking, mix all ingredients for the sauce
- Add sauce and veggies once chicken is done cooking
- Lower pan to a simmer, add a cornstarch & water mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds
- Serve with romaine or iceberg lettuce
